This page explains how Maison Vitis uses cookies and other trackers on its website, including to ensure its operation, measure its audience and allow the possible display of YouTube videos.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file stored on or read from your device when you visit a website. Other technologies, such as browser local storage, can serve similar purposes. Some trackers are essential to the operation of the service; others may be used only with your consent.

Consent manager

Maison Vitis uses the tarteaucitron consent manager to collect and remember your choices. You can accept or reject optional services with equal ease. Not making a choice or continuing to browse does not constitute consent.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie-management button at the bottom of every page. Refusal does not prevent access to essential website content, although some external content, such as a YouTube video, will remain disabled.

The exact technical list may change when Google Analytics is enabled, a video is added or a provider changes. The cookie-management panel must be kept up to date with the services actually active.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics will be used only after you agree, in order to understand website traffic in aggregate and improve its content. Settings must limit tracker lifetimes to no more than thirteen months and prevent any undisclosed advertising use. You can reject this service without affecting your browsing.

YouTube videos

Embedded YouTube players are blocked until you accept the corresponding service. If you accept, your browser connects to Google and YouTube servers, which may receive information about your device and browsing, including if you have a Google account. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie manager.

Booking services

The website may display an Elloha widget or links to the booking platform. When you use these functions, data and trackers may be processed by that provider to supply the requested service. Read the information provided by Elloha before submitting your data.

Duration of your choices

Your acceptance or refusal is remembered for six months. At the end of that period, or if a new purpose is added, you may be asked to choose again.

Browser settings

You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. However, these settings alone do not replace the consent mechanism provided on the website and may remove useful preferences.
