For thirteen years in Lyon, we brought Aromo to life: a wine bar and cellar designed as places of discovery and openness to the world. Over the years, one thing became clear: we wanted to welcome people differently. For longer. More simply.

Maison Vitis grew from this desire to welcome you into our home in the heart of Southern Burgundy and to share what has always inspired us: the pleasure of meeting people, the world of wine and a true sense of hospitality.

For us, hospitality is not measured by grand gestures, but by the quality of the details: a room that feels right from the very first moment, the right address recommended at the right time, a carefully prepared breakfast or a conversation shared whenever you feel like it.

We are discreetly present and available to guide you, offer advice or simply talk. We also know when to make room for peace, rest and privacy.

Travel, sharing, curiosity and openness lie at the heart of our story. Long before Maison Vitis, these values already guided our choices. We have always loved discovering other cultures, listening to other languages and understanding different ways of living and seeing the world.

A name that felt inevitable

Vitis vinifera is the Latin name for the grapevine – the plant that shapes the landscapes around us and has always been part of our story.

We believe a region is discovered as much through its landscapes as through the women and men who bring it to life. Wine taught us that. Behind every bottle lie a place, a culture, expertise and a story. This philosophy, and this desire to understand and share, are what inspire Maison Vitis today.
