From vine to canvas: a creative stay in the Mâconnais

Rangs de vigne aux couleurs de fin d’été

What if wine became an artistic medium? When painting with wine, vineyard shades leave the glass for the paper. Combined with a walk among the vines and a night at Maison Vitis, this activity creates an original escape open to anyone with curiosity.

Observe the vineyard before creating

Gather colours from the landscape

Before the workshop, take time to observe the lines of the vineyard plots, the pale stone of the villages and the contours of Solutré and Vergisson. These shapes and contrasts naturally feed the imagination. Our Around Maison Vitis selection helps you choose a viewpoint, a walk or a heritage stop.

Discover painting with wine

The Painting with Wine activity offers another way to approach the region. There is no need to be an artist or specialist: its interest lies in experimenting, exploring the shades and creating your own keepsake. Like the other Maison Vitis experiences, it belongs naturally in a wine-inspired stay without imposing a technical approach.

Continue the experience through the senses

Compare the palette with the tasting

To connect creativity and discovery, add a tasting of Mâconnais and Beaujolais wines. Four guided wines introduce grape varieties, appellations and terroirs. Guests who do not drink alcohol can still fully enjoy the landscape, conversations and creative dimension of the stay.

Return to the calm of Maison Vitis

After the workshop, return to the comfort of our rooms. The Les sentiers de Solutré room can continue the landscape theme, while the others invite you towards Fuissé, Cluny, Cormatin or Lamartine.

Create a personal memory of the Mâconnais

This creative stay can fit into two days: the first to explore the vineyards and the second to paint and taste. It can also form part of a longer escape. Browse all Maison Vitis experiences and choose the activities that connect your own sensitivity with the region.
